Hello Everyone,
I hope you're doing well and enjoying the wonders of the world. I have a delightful story about a recent weekend adventure with my friend, @theclayzpotter.
Last Saturday, we had no big plans for the day, just a desire to let things unfold naturally. We had a relaxing start to our day and then decided to explore a new pottery studio nearby. This place had a special charm with mud walls and shelves made of cob, and we were completely absorbed in its artistic atmosphere.
But the real adventure started when we left the studio. Feeling inspired, we decided to try our hands at foraging for clay in the lush surroundings of Goa during the monsoon. Being close to nature in its full splendor was such a treat.
We found a serene spot by a stream, and our new friend, a buffalo, seemed to be enjoying the day as much as we were. We began collecting mud to experiment with, and amidst the greenery and the soothing sound of flowing water, we felt truly grateful for the beauty of our surroundings.

As we were about to leave, the buffalo, who had been peacefully enjoying his time in the water, suddenly decided to block our path. He looked quite determined, and we wondered if we had intruded on his territory.
We tried to reason with him, but it didn't seem to work. It turned into a standoff until, luckily, our buffalo friend decided to let us go and returned to his spot in the water. We breathed a sigh of relief and made our way out, our clay-collecting adventure turning into a surprising buffalo encounter.
The lesson we learned that day is that nature always has something unexpected in store for us. It reminded us of the joy of letting go of expectations, just like children who have no agenda but always find fun and wonder when playing in the elements of nature.
Watch this reel about that day!!
Until our next adventure,
Khadija
